TERMS AND CONDITIONS

PAYMENTS:

Sugar and Spice Cupcakes on accepts credit card payments, we do not accept checks or cash payments.
Payments are due by 5 pm on the due date.
A $50.00 non-refundable retainer fee is required to hold orders with future dates. No orders will secured without a retainer fee.
Because your payment is a confirmation of your order, a payment must be made by the due date to secure your spot.
Your date will be held for 24 hours after an order inquiry, after this time has passed, your date will be made available to the next customer in line.

PLACING YOUR ORDER:

Sugar and Spice Cupcakes only accepts orders through our website. We will not accept orders through Facebook, Instagram, or just general emails. All orders must be filled out in our Cupcake or Cake order forms to be accepted. Any questions you may have before placing your order can be emailed to:

CANCELLATIONS/ ORDER CHANGES/ REFUNDS:

Sugar and Spice Cupcakes has the right to cancel your order. Once an order has been cancelled, we cannot guarantee any openings as we fill our spots on a first come first serve basis.
No refunds will be given for orders not picked up by the customer.
No refunds will be given for a retainer fee placed to hold a spot if you cancel your order.
Order cancellation must be made within 48 hours of placing your order to receive a full refund. After that time has passed, we will not refund your payment.
Orders cancelled on the day an order is due for pick-up/delivery will not be refunded.
Any order changes e.g. cake sizes, cupcake amounts must be made before the final payment is made. Once the final invoice is paid we are unable to make changes, therefore no changes will be accepted.

ORDER PICK-UP:

Orders must be picked up as agreed, any changes to your pick-up time must be communicated to us in a timely manner as we have deliveries to make.
Please be respectful and arrive on time to pick-up your order. Not showing up on time, will result in your order being picked up at a later time or day.

ORDER DELIVERY:

Because we are delivering a food product, we do not leave orders outside, someone must be available to receive your order.
If no-one is present at the time of delivery, we will not leave your order outside, at this point you will be required to pick up your order at our pick-up location at a later time or day.

DAMAGES TO YOUR ORDER:

Sugar and Spice Cupcakes will not be responsible for any damages caused after pick or delivery. Once orders leave our premises we have no control on how they are handled or temperatures they are stored in.
We ensure cupcakes are packed with inserts to keep the cupcakes from moving around during transportation, and also inspected before pick-up or delivery.
Cakes are packed in special cake boxes to avoid moving during transportation.

What Sugar and Spice Cupcakes will not be responsible for due to improper storage during transportation or storage before your event:

Melting buttercream
Damaged cupcakes and cakes or any other treats.
Dry cupcakes, cake or any other treats; because we bake our treats when ordered everything is fresh when it is delivered or picked up.

CARING FOR YOUR ORDER AFTER PICK-UP OR DELIVERY:

To ensure freshness and avoid melting, please store your cupcakes or cake in the refrigerator. We have no control over the temperatures at other locations, therefore we recommend keeping them cool to be on the safe side and removing them from boxes at least an hour before your event to bring them to room temperature.

If for any reason Sugar and Spice Cupcakes cannot fulfill your order, a full refund will be credited to you.
A $10.00 late fee will be added to your bill if the payment has not been made by the due date. Non payment after a reminder is sent, will result in your order being cancelled.
